As United Methodists we believe...
- We are called as a people to worship the one true God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human and that Jesus lived a sinless life, was crucified, died and was buried, and rose from the dead. His life, his death, his resurrection offer salvation to all people.
- The Holy Spirit is the active presence of God in the world, guiding, comforting and empowering believers.
- The Bible is the inspired word of God and the primary authority for faith and practice. Both the Old and New Testaments are sacred and authoritative.
- Salvation is a gift from God, made possible through Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice and is received by grace through faith.
- And recognize two sacraments: Baptism and Holy Communion. Baptism is a means of grace and an initiation into the Christian faith. Communion is a remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice and a means of receiving God's grace.
- The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship and serve. We as the Church are a community of believers to proclaim the gospel.
