As the calendar changes, so do the liturgical seasons in the Church. The many moving parts include preparing and planning for worship services, special holidays and seasons, and the internal and external décor of the sanctuary and the Church.
Our Worship Team works closely with our Pastor to maintain and organize the sanctuary and narthex, including preparing the Altar in the front of the Church prior to services, creating and hanging the paraments and banners within the sanctuary, ordering flowers for the Altar, holiday decorations, Communion Table and vessel needs and preparation.
This committee meets three to four times a year to plan and organize; usually in late November to plan for Christmas and in January or February to plan for the year, Lent and Easter.
